Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNO): Masjid Bilal in Srinagar hosted a community Iftaar for Muslims, bringing together people from various localities to break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative aimed to promote unity and compassion within the community. “Such gatherings not only allow us to fulfill our religious obligations but also strengthen the bond between people,” said Javid Ahmad, a local resident. Another local, Mushtaq Ahmad, appreciated the efforts of the Masjid administration and said, in today’s world, where people are becoming distant from each other, events like these help us reconnect and support each other. An official from the management of Masjid Bilal expressed their commitment to organizing similar events in the future. “We want to ensure that no one feels left out during Ramadan. Our aim is to serve the people and spread the message of love and unity. We have been organizing this Iftaar for many years now, and this year was no different,” said one of the organizers.
